You have heard the case against Vincent Doan and Tracey Baker as presented by Clinton County Prosecutors. We feel it is our turn to present to you a fresh look at things as they stood then...and as they stand now. Clinton County Prosecutors presented to the jury a story about a high school cheerleader and prom queen contendant from the Tiny town of Blanchester. That is all very nice, but Carrie was 22 yrs old when she disappeared. Carrie had been out living on her own with a girlfriend in Midland, Ohio for some time. She moved back in with her mother just a few weeks before she disappeared. We know she played on a volley ball team, but Vince had played for the team also. He was invited to the Volleyball Banquet the night of the 28th. (States witness) We know she went tanning, we know she worked out at a gym and had a job doing sculptured nails. Prosecutors painted a pretty picture of the all American girl from a small town to the jury.
What we didn't know then: Carrie was known to hang out at the home of Jason Crosley and Rick Rice. Carrie called three different men from the home of Jason Crosley and Rick Rice the night of the 28th at approx. 11 pm. Who did she call? What was she looking for? What we know now: A man by the name of Michael Douglas Fogt lived at 124 McJunkin rd. Blanchester at the time of Carrie's disappearance. He was a member of the Iron horsemen Motorcycle Club. Within the club he was known as "Malfunction". We also know Mr. Fogt was an associate and neighbor of Jarrod Messer, (among others). He is in prison for the murders of two women, one in 1997 and one in 2003. He is a suspect in others. Jarrod Messer- Carrie's shirt was found under a pole barn on Messer's property in 2004. Messer and Fogt have ties.
